This is the second time I've had to write this so unfortunately it's probably going to be as in depth as the first wright up so I apologize. Today I am just going to focus on the basic user interface of the DAW It looks messy now but in FL Studio 20 (FL20) and other DAW's you should be able to clean it up by closing a lot of the unnecessary windows. For FL20 to open and close those windows we will need to become familiar with the tool bar These are the buttons that will open and close those windows. From left to right: 1) Play list 2) Channel rack 3) Piano roll 4) Browser 5) Mixer *Note; In the most recent updated the order is different The most you or I will use for recording classical guitar will just be the mixer and the playlist. The next part I am just going to link the different parts from the FL20 website as I have very little to add to it but this is what you would want your daw to look like Toolbar Panels & Icons Going through this page/link will help to make working round your project more fluid and provide you with clear explanations on each part of the toolbar.
